Location: Homebased/with travel to London
Salary: £41,328 - £48,621 pa depending on experience - Band H (Geographical allowance may apply)
The vacancy
The Philanthropy and Major Giving team manages an annual budget of around £3.5m with a goal to grow this to £5m by 2026. In 2021, the team doubled their income following the passing of HRH the late Duke of Edinburgh, which raised awareness and the charity's profile.
The team handles relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family trusts, and foundations, many of whom are long-term supporters committed to supporting young people. The team actively seeks new business opportunities through networks and events, collaborating with internal stakeholders including the CEO, ELT, Trustees, and other teams.
You will join a successful team at a pivotal moment as we prepare for our 70th Anniversary in 2026 and the launch of a new five-year strategy.
The successful candidate will play an active role in the team, contributing to plans and working collaboratively to attract new donors and increase income.
