The vacancy

The Philanthropy and Major Giving team manages an annual budget of around £3.5m with a goal to grow this to £5m by 2026. In 2021, the team doubled their income following the passing of HRH the late Duke of Edinburgh, which raised awareness and the charity's profile.

You will join a successful team at a pivotal moment as we prepare for our 70th Anniversary in 2026 and the launch of a new five-year strategy.

The successful candidate will play an active role in the team, contributing to plans and working collaboratively to attract new donors and increase income.

We seek someone ambitious, with drive and tenacity to engage new high-level donors and develop existing relationships with our supporters.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in fundraising, networking, and relationship building, leading to significant financial support.
  • Experience in generating six-figure and above multi-year gifts, managing and growing a diverse portfolio.
