THE ROLE:

The organisation is introducing a Senior Lawyer role to support the growth and development of a high performing investigations team. In this role, you will lead and mentor investigation lawyers and paralegals while overseeing cases across all stages of the fitness to practise process. You will provide expert legal oversight, act as the senior escalation point for evidential and procedural issues, and ensure consistent, high quality case progression. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1–2 days in the office and the remaining worked remotely.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are open to qualified solicitors or barristers with at least five years’ PQE. Candidates will be skilled in conducting fitness to practice investigations, assessing evidence, and preparing cases for hearings, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership, excellent organisational abilities, and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships are also essential.
