A correctional service provider is seeking a Senior Psychologist based at HMP Northumberland. The candidate will oversee psychological services, support trainee psychologists, and contribute to assessments and interventions. This role offers hybrid working options and requires HCPC registration as a Forensic Psychologist, along with a professional psychology background. Band 8 Senior Psychologist based at HMP Northumberland. The NE&Y psychology team provides a psychology service to the privately managed prison. The post holder will be involved in the oversight of psychology provision, monitoring and supporting delivery of agreed services, and will work closely with the Northumberland senior leadership team. Integrated within the wider NE&Y psychology team, the role offers opportunities to support trainee psychologists, and to carry out assessment, intervention, training, research and consultancy tasks. Work may be allocated in other NE&Y prisons and in the community, and hybrid working will be supported.
