BNY is seeking an EMEA & APAC Employment Tax Specialist to provide expert advisory across multiple jurisdictions. You will support payroll taxation, mobility, benefits and reporting obligations, while collaborating with Payroll, People Team, Finance, Legal and Risk to implement regulatory changes.

The role requires translating complex regulations into practical actions, maintaining governance, and mentoring less experienced colleagues as part of a regional, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in employment tax across multiple EMEA and APAC jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of employment tax compliance, reporting obligations, controls and risk in a complex international environment.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, Finance, Legal, People Team and Risk functions.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance and actions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Provide employment tax expertise and advisory support across EMEA and APAC.
• Monitor legislative/regulatory developments and assess impacts to processes and obligations.
• Partner with Payroll, People Team, Finance, Legal and Mobility to implement regulatory changes.
• Identify and mitigate employment tax risks through governance and controls.
• Support tax authority inquiries, audits, reviews, and information requests.
• Drive process improvement and scalable, well-controlled solutions across the region.
• Maintain documentation of tax positions and risk assessments.
• Contribute to delivery discipline through planning, prioritisation and escalation of risks.
• Share expertise and promote best practice to less experienced colleagues.
• Build cross-functional relationships to ensure tax considerations are understood in business activity.
