Job description

Our Reception team is the 'voice' of the Club, providing excellent, warm, and friendly service to our members and their guests. Ensuring strong member recognition at all times is crucial, and working closely with the rest of the team to uphold current booking policies, club rules, and by‑laws.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise receptionists and cloakroom assistants, ensuring impeccable service and appearance standards.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, resolving member concerns effectively and courteously.
  • Handle enquiries, reservations, and bookings via telephone, email, and at the reception desk.
  • Host and escort members to their reserved tables throughout the Club.
  • Oversee reception tasks, including briefings, shift handovers, lost property, and locker key management.
  • Maintain accurate members' profiles and ensure seamless communication with all departments.
  • Stay informed about Club events, exhibitions, and programmes to assist members and maximise booking opportunities.
  • Adhere to and enforce Club policies, including health and safety regulations, grooming standards, and employment practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in high‑volume restaurants or private members' clubs.
  • Proficiency in systems like SevenRooms/OpenTable and Salesforce/Dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
