Qualifications

• Experience with RTI Connext DDS and DDS in real-time distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of IDL and data modelling.
• Experience in software architecture and design for safety-critical systems.
• Experience with Command and Control systems.
• Ability to mentor other developers and provide technical guidance.
• Ability to influence architecture and data structures across product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing real-time distributed software and communications solutions
• Supporting system and sub-system architecture and design
• Designing and constructing IDL at system and sub-system level
• Developing reusable component templates and software design patterns
• Working on command and control definition and design
• Developing and evolving complex communications data models
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other software developers
• Taking technical ownership of key technologies used across complex, safety-critical systems
