Job description

Real Estate Lawyer - Thames Valley

This leading Thames Valley firm has built its reputation on deep local roots, a strong sense of culture, and a modern approach to practice. With offices across the region and a recent "Law Firm of the Year" accolade, they have become a go-to name for high-quality legal services delivered with integrity, collaboration, and care.

Their Real Estate team is central to that success. Known for its breadth and technical strength, the group advises a loyal client base ranging from regional property developers and investors to national businesses with assets across the South.

They are now looking to appoint an experienced Real Estate Lawyer (circa 5-10+ PQE) to join the team in Swindon.

The opportunity

You’ll work across the full spectrum of commercial property transactions - from acquisitions and disposals to complex site development and portfolio management. The work is varied and high-quality, often involving long-standing client relationships where you’ll be trusted to provide pragmatic, commercial advice.

Alongside managing your own caseload, you’ll play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the continued growth of the department. This is a team that values initiative, collaboration and client care above hierarchy - the kind of place where your contribution is visible and your progression supported.

About you
  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Confident handling a broad range of real estate transactions
  • Commercially minded, with strong client-facing skills
  • A genuine team player who takes pride in building relationships and delivering a high standard of service
The firm

What sets this firm apart is its culture - open, inclusive, and focused on long-term relationships over short-term wins. They’ve embraced modern ways of working, offering flexibility, trust and autonomy alongside meaningful professional development.
