Michael Page is partnering with a global Real Estate Investment Manager to appoint a Senior Real Estate Asset Manager for a central London office portfolio (~€1bn AUM). You will define and drive asset management strategy, coordinate leasing activity, and onboard new assets for Europe and other jurisdictions.

The role reports to the Head of Europe and requires a track record of 6–10 years in CRE Asset Management and MRICS, with strong Excel and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in commercial real estate asset management.
• 3–4 years in a client-side or investment-manager role.
• MRICS qualification is preferred.
• Strong relationship management demonstrated with blue-chip tenants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ownership, strategic and proactive asset management across a London office portfolio.
• Implement AM initiatives: lettings, rent reviews, lease re-gears, refurbishments; hold/sell analysis.
• On-board new assets and ensure smooth handover after transactions.
• Direct 3rd parties: property managers, agents, surveyors, lawyers, valuers.
• Prepare and implement annual business plans aligned with fund strategy.
• Model cash flows, report performance, evaluate AM initiatives.
• Implement ESG strategies and provide regular reporting.
• Liaise with tenants and investors; present board recommendations.

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee and manage a CRE Office portfolio of ~€1bn at the European arm of a global Investment Manager with to total $7.5bn AUM. Key role actively managing, setting AM strategy, leasing and on-boarding future incoming mandates in Europe and wider global jurisdictions.

Client Details

Our client is a reputable sector-agnostic global Real Estate Investment Manager with ~$7.5bn AUM. Rising 20 years of track-record, acquiring predominantly CRE assets (ave. ticket size €170m), they are growing their team in London with a newly created Senior Asset Manager role reporting to, and supporting, the Head of Europe.

Description

• Ownership, strategic & pro-active asset management across a portfolio of central London office assets (with potential for other international jurisdictions to be added in due course).


• Implementation of asset management initiatives including lettings, rent reviews, lease re-gears, refurbishments, hold / sell analysis.


• On-boarding of any new assets acquired ensuring a smooth handover following conclusion of transactions.


• Day to day direction of appointed 3rd parties / consultants including property managers, agents, surveyors, lawyers and valuers.


• Preparation and implementation of annual business plans to optimise performance in accordance with capital partner / fund strategy.


• Financial cash flow modelling across AM strategies, performance reporting and evaluation of proposed initiatives.


• Implementation of ESG strategies in accordance with company objectives.


• Regular external and internal reporting.


• Tenant, capital partner / investor liaison: in person meetings and conference calls.


• Preparation and delivery of board recommendations.

Profile

• Experience of 6-10 yrs in commercial real estate Asset Management, ideally including 3-4 years+ in a client-side role / Investment Manager.


• Good quality academics, Real Estate (or related Built Environment) BSc / MSc degree.


• MRICS qualification


• Excellent relationship management skills, demonstrable track-record taking care of high-profile / blue-chip Tenants and trophy office assets.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.


• Self-motivated, organised, determined and diligent - excellent time-keeping skills.


• Excellent communication skills, ability to present both verbally and especially in written reports.


• Good quality Excel skills, demonstrable record of managing multiple big-ticket London assets and ability to appraise AM initiatives.
