Job summary

Hedgehog Lab in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/TypeScript) for a 3–6 month contract. You’ll own a self-contained area, build across the stack with TypeScript and React, and make the technical calls end-to-end.

This remote-first role offers office space near UK locations if needed, and requires proactive communication to keep the fast-moving team aligned and delivering against a clear date.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial TypeScript, front and back
• Deep React experience on the front end
• Back-end Node (Express or NestJS)
• Designing and building scalable APIs and cloud-native applications
• Owning an isolated area of a build while staying joined up with a fast-moving team
• Strong, proactive communication

Responsibilities

• Build across the stack in TypeScript with React on the front end, owning a self-contained area end to end
• Make the technical calls on your area and drive delivery with the team
• Collaborate with the wider team to keep everyone in the loop as work progresses
• Own a portion of the build with high accountability and pace
