Job summary

Experis Austria is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to own a modern React + TypeScript application from the UK, shape its architecture, and deliver accessible, high-quality features for users worldwide.

You will work with GraphQL, AWS Amplify, AppSync, and a Vite-based pipeline, implement i18n, and drive tests and performance improvements in a collaborative team. This role offers remote UK work with a strong ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with React and TypeScript in production.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Vite or similar build tools.
• CSS/Sass skills and experience with component libraries (Ant Design/Material UI).
• Experience building responsive, accessible web applications.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and AWS Amplify.
• Experience implementing i18n in production apps.
• Strong testing practices with Vitest/Jest/Testing Library.
• Familiarity with ESLint, CI/CD workflows, and frontend tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production features in a React + TypeScript app.
• Design reusable components and scalable frontend architecture.
• Optimize the build and development pipeline (Vite).
• Create responsive, accessible interfaces using a component library.
• Integrate with GraphQL services and AWS Amplify/AppSync.
• Implement internationalisation (i18n) across the platform.
• Write high-quality tests and improve test coverage.
• Drive performance improvements and developer experience.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
