Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an experienced full stack developer (React/Node) to work on cutting-edge frontends for a healthcare mission-driven organization. You will collaborate with Product, UX designers, and engineers to develop client-side applications.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining complex React/Node applications, ensuring seamless integration between client and server, and delivering accessible, scalable web experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with React and Node across frontend and backend.
• Experience on moderate to large web monoliths.
• Experience delivering products through full lifecycle.
• Strong Agile delivery experience and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Ensure seamless integration between client-side and server-side components.
• Develop user interfaces for large monoliths and micro-frontends with strong accessibility.
• Implement and optimize UI components aligned with enterprise design systems.
• Lead applications through the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Ensure high-quality releases via CI, code reviews, and automated testing.
