Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Senior Support Worker to monitor, support and supervise our Support Workers delivering high‑quality care at customers' homes. The role includes working on a rotating hybrid schedule, with office on-site part of the week and community-based activity for administration.

Salary ranges from £31,537 to £33,699 per annum plus a 10% unsocial hours uplift. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience is welcomed, with opportunities to pursue related qualifications.

Our Support Workers are the unsung heroes, providing crucialassistancetocustomersinthe comfort of theirhomes post-hospital discharge.Collaborating hand-in-hand with dedicated occupational therapists,weco-developpersonalised reablement plans,helping customers achieve their goals in the comfort of their homes.Operating on a rotating schedule, the team is available between 7 am to 10 pm, 365 days a year, ensuring continuous and dedicated support.

As aSeniorSupport Worker,you will monitor, support, and supervise our dedicated Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of services for ourvaluedcustomers.

We would like to welcome candidates with either an NVQ Level3or equivalent substantial experience in a related fieldto apply, and we also welcome those who showaninterested inpursuing a relevant qualification.
