Job summary

WSP seeks a Project Manager in the PMCM Rail team to enable delivery of complex rail projects of regional, national and international significance. You will ensure safe, high-quality, on-time delivery within budget, collaborating with internal multi-disciplinary teams and utilizing offices, client sites, and sites as needed.

The role requires adaptable, innovative individuals with a bias for problem-solving, capable of working across large, intricate programmes with strong client engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline.
• Chartered membership advantageous.
• APM/MSP/PMI/PRINCE2/Six Sigma certifications are beneficial.
• Experience managing NEC3/4 contracts.
• Experience in project management and client-side delivery on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate disciplines through project meetings and target-led workshops to resolve issues.
• Establish robust processes and procedures with the client’s team.
• Act as primary point of contact for the client through design and construction phases.
• Develop and manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Compile monthly project reports and data-based scenarios for senior managers.
• Manage changes and delays, including NEC3/4 contract considerations.
