Job summary

AmcoGiffen is seeking a Planner or Senior Planner (P6) to support major rail and civil engineering projects across Scotland from our Cumbernauld base. You will develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes using Primavera P6, working with project teams to support efficient delivery and informed decisions.

The role covers multi-project environments, progression reporting, change management, risk reviews and regular progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within rail and civil engineering.
• Experience across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality project programmes and advise on schedule impacts.
• Assist with change management and evaluate programme effects.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies with teams.
• Support procurement planning and review schedules.
• Ensure understanding of programme requirements through regular reviews.
