Job summary

Emico Ltd is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex rail engineering and infrastructure projects from award to handover. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and Right First Time.

The role requires a proven senior project leadership background, strong commercial acumen, and a track record of delivering large-scale programmes within budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience in a senior role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cost-control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from mobilisation through to handover, final account and warranty completion.
• Own safety, quality, programme, cost and client satisfaction.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams.
• Drive delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved and risks managed.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement, engineering, commissioning and project controls.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and profitably.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Produce clear project reporting for senior leadership.
• Act as an ambassador for Emico and our values.
