This role offers the opportunity to undertake a full range of MRI examinations, provide clinical support, and contribute to service improvement within a flexible 7-day service pattern.

Qualifications

  • 1 year UK experience required.
  • 2 years MRI experience required.
  • Evidence of CPD is required.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake a full range of MRI examinations.
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Offer support to Radiographers and trainees.
  • Administer contrast under established protocols.

Hours - Full-time 7-day service pattern with flexible hours

We are seeking a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our rapidly growing MRI service across Sussex. If you are an experienced MRI specialist looking for more autonomy, leadership responsibility and access to state-of-the-art scanners, this is the role for you.

Main duties of the job

You will-

Undertake a full range of MRI examinations using modern 1x5T and 3T systems

Offer clinical support and guidance to Radiographers and trainees

Support protocol development,justificationand patient safety processes

Administer contrast under PGDs and clinical protocols

Contribute to service improvement,auditand quality initiatives

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • BSC in Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registered
  • Must have 1 year UK experience
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Flexible approach
  • Excellent and professional communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Good organisational skills
Experience
  • Must have 1 year UK experience + 2 years MRI Experience
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient‑centred care
  • Confidence to work autonomously in a 7‑day rota
