Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IRMER 2017 regulations, radiation protection, and patient advocacy.
• Ability to provide empathetic support to patients and families.
• Independent practitioner status as required for Radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the ultrasound service.
• Train on the Lithotripter to deliver a comprehensive five-day service.
• Assess patients for treatment suitability.
• Ensure patient care throughout the procedure.
• Liaise with the wider urology team.
• Deliver a high quality service with a variety of patient presentations.
• Manage patients exhibiting anti-social and threatening behaviour as part of the stone service.
