Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer to join the Medical Imaging Department at Ayrshire Central Hospital. You will perform highly skilled imaging, contribute to diagnostic decisions, and ensure radiology procedures are followed across the site.

The role requires a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration, and a valid driving licence; an IV injection qualification is desirable. Shifts include 2x11.25h over 7 days, with permanent status.

Qualifications

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration.
• Driving licence.
• An IV injection qualification would be desirable for this post.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
• Ensure that NHS Ayrshire & Arran radiology procedures are implemented and maintained.
