Job summary

One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join the Imaging team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and support the Imaging Lead. The role requires HCPC registration and an in-depth understanding of radiography and imaging workflows.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, with a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day rota. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Closing date: 30/09/2026.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered with no restrictions to practice.
  • Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic imaging procedures and quality protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in the Imaging Department.
  • Produce clear, accurate images to support diagnosis and treatment.
  • Support imaging lead and supervise junior staff as required.
  • Contribute to protocol development and service improvement.

About The Role
  • The post-holder will undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department. They will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead.
  • To deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service.
  • To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.
  • Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care.
  • Training and supervision of junior staff and assistant staff in both the delivery of the service and their individual development needs in a motivational manner.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC registered with no referrals/restrictions to practice.
  • Excellent understanding of the role of a Radiographer and Imaging services.
