Linsco is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Nottingham team. You will take charge of commercial management for multiple high-volume residential developments, overseeing costs, budgets, valuations and subcontractor performance.

You will report to the Commercial Director and collaborate with site and contracts teams to optimize profitability, manage cash flow and ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume residential developments.
• Strong understanding of contracts, commercial procedures and surveying practices.
• Excellent cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting abilities.
• Proven ability to procure and manage subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for the commercial management of designated residential developments.
• Monitor and manage build costs, cash flow, variations and budgets at site level.
• Prepare and review monthly valuations, cost reports and forecasts.
• Procure subcontract trades in line with procedures, ensuring competitive pricing and best value.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage potential cost overruns.
• Provide detailed cost and budget analysis throughout the build programme.
• Attend regular subcontractor meetings to review performance and commercial progress.
• Produce commercial reports and KPI updates for the Commercial Director.
• Ensure all commercial processes, expenditure and reporting comply with company policies and procedures.
