Job summary

Global Construction Review is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in the United Kingdom to join a growing team handling refurbishment and fit-out projects with JCT D&B contracts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience and be prepared to work on major Tier 1 contractor schemes.

Responsibilities include monthly profit reviews, valuations, sub-contractor procurement, pre-tender profit planning, cashflow forecasts, and final accounts support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with JCT D&B Refurbishment & Fit Out.
• Experience with Tier 1 Main Contractors on projects > £10m.
• Immediate availability or 1 month notice.

Responsibilities

• Monthly review of profit reports to ascertain project cost position
• Preparation of monthly valuations both client side and the supply chain
• Negotiation and procurement of sub-contractor packages
• Preparation of pre-tender profit plan
• Management of cost changes throughout project
• Preparation of cashflow forecasts
• Assist with Agreement of final accounts both upstream & downstream
• Assist with Preparation of main contract documentation, collateral warranties, and consultant appointment
