Job summary

Foster & May is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a national construction consultancy on a high-profile energy infrastructure project near Bury St Edmunds. The role is embedded with the client team and is hybrid with remote work three days a week.

You will lead on a high-value section with support from a QS team, working under NEC Option E, focusing on Early Warnings, and a contract lasting 3–4 years with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant experience on major projects.
• Strong NEC Contract knowledge (Option E).
• Background with main contractor or consultancy environments.
• Excellent communication with multiple stakeholders.
• MRICS membership or relevant degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a high-value section of the project with support from a QS team.
• Embedded with the client team in a hybrid working arrangement.
• Work on NEC Option E contract, focus on Early Warnings.
• Project duration 3–4 years with potential for extension within a national programme.
