Farrans Construction is delivering a £3.6 billion Living Water Enterprise infrastructure program in the UK. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual management, drive profitability, manage risk, and support delivery with clients, supply chain partners, and multidisciplinary teams.

You will work with the Commercial Manager to maintain contract compliance, prepare cost and progress reports, and oversee subcontract lifecycles.

Competenze

BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
NEC3 or NEC4 option C experience is preferred.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise deadlines and pay attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organisational abilities with good problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
Familiar with IT software, especially the Microsoft Office suite.

Mansioni

Liaise with the System sub-contractor and stakeholders.
Advise on contractual issues and ensure commercial compliance.
Prepare monthly cost and progress reports and support the project team.
Assist with pricing variations beyond mechanical and electrical scope.
Manage cost control and delegated resources to ensure value for money.
Support procurement, tendering, contract administration and work packages management.
Measure quantities and contribute to final accounts paperwork.
Report subcontract status to the Commercial Manager and assist with WIP.
