Job summary

ADEO Global Consulting Ltd seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its multi-disciplinary team in Somerset and surrounding areas. The role involves managing budgets, cash flows and sub‑contract accounts, with responsibility for final accounts and cost/value reconciliations.

You will lead a small QS team, deliver on client briefs, and support junior staff while ensuring professional, business-like conduct and confidentiality across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience managing medium projects independently (1–5 million).
• Able to produce CVRs against budget.
• Excellent time management and teamwork.
• Mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contract budgets and cash flows.
• Control sub-contract accounts and valuations.
• Measure subcontractors’ work and assess variations.
• Prepare final accounts and cost/value reconciliations.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with MQS on claims issues.
• Manage a small team of QSs and perform appraisals.
