Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support EP&R projects across the UK from our London office.

You will manage commercial requirements, procure subcontractors, and provide cost, margin and cashflow reporting while engaging with clients and design teams to control costs and change orders.

We value strong Civils and electrical/mechanical project experience and a collaborative, high‑performing team mindset.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years' experience as Project QS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Civils experience.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical field.
• Ability to prioritise workload with deadlines and high attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
