Job summary

One Construction Group Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Leeds team on a permanent basis. You will work across infrastructure, highways and civil engineering projects, developing strong client relationships and taking greater ownership of your work.

The successful candidate will have proven QS experience in construction or civils, with a strong commercial and contract background, and a proactive, client-facing approach to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Highways / infrastructure / civils experience advantageous, although general construction backgrounds will be considered.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Confident managing your own workload and taking ownership of projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ambitious and keen to develop within a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and take ownership of projects across infrastructure, highways and civils.
• Work within a collaborative team to deliver consultancy services for major projects.
• Manage workload effectively and provide strong commercial input on contracts.
