Senior Quantity Surveyor

Leeds | £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Our client, an established main contractor based in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their expanding team. Operating nationally across the residential and commercial sectors, they deliver both new build and refurbishment projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on large-scale new build developments, working alongside an experienced senior team and benefitting from clear career progression.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of 1-2 live projects at a time
• Oversee new build and refurbishment schemes and other large-scale projects from start to finish
• Prepare valuations, forecasts, reconciliations, and cost reports
• Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
• Maintain strong financial control and ensure profitable project outcomes
• Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing regular reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Solid background as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and/or commercial construction
• Experience working on commercial and residential projects
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
• Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
• Willingness to travel nationally as required
