Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dartford.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of residential housing schemes from start to completion
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor packages and cost control
• Produce and manage CVRs, valuations, and final accounts
• Provide commercial guidance to the wider team and support junior staff
• Work closely with technical, construction and site teams to ensure financial efficiency
• Maintain and maximise profitability without compromising on quality

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential housebuilding
• Essential: Working knowledge and daily use of COINS software
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and housebuilding cost structures
• Excellent negotiation, reporting and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple sites and mentor junior QS staff
• Proactive, commercially driven and detail-focused
