Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering Framework (Bristol)

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 + car & package

We are partnering with a top-tier main contractor to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their growing team delivering a key civil engineering framework local to Bristol. This is an opportunity to lead on essential, high‑impact civil engineering projects, from complex earthworks and drainage to soil stabilisation.

As a Senior QS, you'll be a vital part of the team, managing the commercial success of these critical projects. Your role will involve:

  • Taking full commercial ownership of projects, from initial tender to final account.
  • Preparing and managing cost forecasts, valuations, and commercial reports.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and administering NEC contracts and managing all commercial aspects of the framework.
  • Engaging with the supply chain, including tendering and subcontractor procurement.
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial risks to ensure project profitability.
  • Working closely with the project management team, engineers, and clients.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Be commercially astute with a solid background in civil engineering.
  • NEC contract experience is non-negotiable. You're confident and competent in managing these contracts from start to finish.
  • You have a proven track record working on infrastructure or civils projects, ideally with a main contractor.
