Senior Quantity Surveyor required for an independent construction business, a relatively new comer, with large and hugely varied portfolio of clients and schemes - operating almost exclusively in the local area.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you'll be working within a team of 8 Surveyors of different levels supporting this regional business. Projects include commercial & industrial projects up to £5m.

Your day to day will include:

• Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team.
• Preparation of monthly cost / value reports, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members.
• Production of commercial reports together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members.
• Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors.
• Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts - monitoring of such accounts against forecasts. Ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time.

Who are they looking for?

• You are educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience within a similar role.
• You have confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel.
• You have excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
• You hold a Full UK Drivers Licence and based within a sensible commuting distance of Andover.
