Overview

A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a variety of high-profile, large-scale projects, particularly in the high-rise residential and build-to-rent sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the full spectrum of pre and post contract quantity surveying services on complex developments.
  • Work autonomously within a consultancy environment as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Lead with confidence to deliver high standards of service while guiding project delivery teams.
  • Apply strong contract knowledge, particularly with JCT and NEC forms, and perform effectively on fast-paced, large-value projects.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or master’s qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Full MRICS or equivalent chartered status (essential).
  • Significant experience within a construction consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record in pre- and post-contract duties from inception to final account.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent team leadership and people management abilities.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects, ideally high-rise residential and build-to-rent.
  • Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
