Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Heritage Refurbishment Project (Tooting, London)
Salary: £80-£85,000 + £5,000 car allowance + bonus + benefits
Location: Tooting, South London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected residential developer on a high-end heritage refurbishment project in Tooting, South London.

This role would suit a commercially astute and detail-driven SQS with proven experience working on residential refurbishment projects, ideally within high end and luxury environments. You’ll be joining a well-established business with a strong reputation for delivering architecturally sensitive residential developments across the UK.

The Role
  • Oversee all commercial and cost management aspects of a major heritage-led residential refurbishment project.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, and cost control.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure delivery to budget and programme.
  • Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Provide commercial insight and reporting to senior management.
Experience Required
  • Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on residential refurbishment projects.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Package
  • £80-£85,000 basic salary
  • £5,000 car allowance
  • Annual bonus (approx. 10% based on individual and company performance)
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays, with Christmas shutdown)
