Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role within a high‑performing, design‑led commercial fit out environment? Our confidential client, a well‑established interiors and refurbishment specialist based in Birmingham, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will take full commercial responsibility across a range of CAT A and CAT B office fit out projects, ensuring financial control, cost certainty, and excellent client service. You'll work closely with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts
• Prepare tender documentation, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare cost value reconciliations
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
• Provide commercial leadership to project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout project lifecycle

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial office fit out
• Strong background in CAT A and CAT B projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills
• Strong commercial acumen with meticulous attention to detail
• Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred)
