A leading construction contractor in the UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a large multi-million healthcare project in Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare construction and a strong understanding of construction contracts. They are a part of a major construction group who take on a mixture of projects from new build/small refurb/extensions up to major, technical challenging projects and have a long, successful history in the region.
They have a realistic turnover target given their presence on a number of key public sector Frameworks together with good relationships with many of the leading private sector clients/developers.
They operate in a number of sectors in the North West including; Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Multi Storey residential, Student Accommodation, Leisure, Defence and Blue Light.
They have excellent relationships with their supply chain (who they treat well) and their clients that leads to a lot of repeat business.
Their management team are highly experienced and respected.
You will be working on a large £multi-million healthcare scheme based in Greater Manchester.
They would like to recruit a Senior QS who has previous experience gained working on healthcare construction projects.
They would also be keen to chat with Project Quantity Surveyors who are ready for the step up in to a SQS role.
You will be able to commute to Greater Manchester daily.
You will have a good knowledge and understanding of construction contracts.
