Senior Quantity Surveyor Estimator

Salary: Competitive + Car or Car Allowance

Role Overview

As the senior quantity surveyor, Estimator, you will take commercial ownership of projects from initial tendering through to financial completion and handover. The role requires strong cost management, procurement, and client liaison skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for projects.
  • Manage commercial aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, including subcontract procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and site managers to meet financial and programme objectives.
  • Support business growth through effective client relationship management and commercial insight.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry.
  • Project experience within education, healthcare, or public sectors.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and estimating software.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
