Job summary

A leading construction recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for various projects in Oxford. This senior role involves procuring, negotiating, and managing subcontractor relationships within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar. Competitive salary up to £80,000 plus package offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' quantity surveying experience.
• Able to demonstrate proven experience with a principal contractor.
• Degree in Quantity Surveyor and / or MCIOB.

Responsibilities

• Procuring & negotiating subcontract packages.
• Placing subcontract orders.
• Carrying out subcontractor valuations.
• Authorising subcontractor payments including issuing all relevant notices.
• Managing & controlling variations.
• Issuing all relevant notices as deemed necessary to both subcontractors and client.
• Final account settlements.

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by a principal contractor for a variety of construction projects in Oxford and the surrounding areas.

This is a fine opportunity to join an established business with a proven record of delivering a spectrum of projects including residential, commercial, education and retail.
