Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of their commercial teams. The team are working on an infrastructure project worth over £40m for the next 5 years on behalf of a private client. This will include upgrading a single carriageway to dual carriageway, plus the construction of a new link road. Scope of works will include drainage, earthworks, calverts, road construction and associated works.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to a Commercial Manager. Your role will be to make sure that commercial duties are being administered in line with a NEC contract.
You will be involved in (but not limited to):
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Degree-qualified or equivalent
Ideally have worked on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Ideally a member of RICS but not essential
You’ll need good working knowledge and experience with the NEC contracts
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
