My client is a regional building contractor, currently hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They work within commercial, residential and social housing sectors of the construction market, delivering a range of design and build projects in affordable housing, residential and commercial. Typical project values range from £5 million up to around £18 million.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute and involved in pricing works on selected projects. You will own and manage the delivery of subcontract packages, ensuring the best possible value and profit are maintained during and at the closing of project delivery. Working independently, you will manage your own workload and projects. Experience of mentoring and developing a commercial team is an advantage.
