Our client, a well-established and respected construction cost consultancy in South Lanarkshire, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering services to clients. Having enjoyed a successful period of sustained growth, you will also provide valuable mentorship to the wider team and the opportunity to progress further as the business continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
  • Administer and advise on contracts, including NEC and JCT forms.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior surveyors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
About You
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QS software such as CostX or similar.
