About the Quantity Surveyor Role

A respected independent consultancy is looking for an accomplished Senior MRICS Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. In this senior role, you will lead cost and commercial management across a diverse portfolio of development and refurbishment projects, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
  • Leading cost planning, estimating, and financial control on major development projects

  • Preparing, managing, and evaluating tender and procurement documentation

  • Overseeing contract administration, negotiation, and sub-contractor assessments

  • Managing value engineering, risk management, and change control activities

  • Producing clear and accurate cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates

  • Supporting, guiding, and mentoring junior colleagues

  • Ensuring full compliance with RICS standards and client requirements
