Qualifications

  • Minimum of several years of pre contract experience in quantity surveying.
  • Preferably MRICS qualified.
  • Experience in the residential project sector is a plus.

About the Role

An ambitious, rapidly growing Construction Consultancy are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor as a result of securing several new projects.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

Joining their London office of 40+, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for a few projects at either pre or post contract stage, and be expected to deliver the work with the support of a couple of Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre and post contract quantity surveying services for residential based projects, including student accommodation and co-living schemes valuing on average between £30m and £50m.
  • Interface effectively with clients.
  • Mentor Graduate and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Good pre contract experience (cost planning, procurement, etc).
  • MRICS qualification ideal.
  • Residential project sector experience a plus.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients.
  • Comfortable mentoring Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
  • Background in PQS / Consultancy.
