Job summary

Brandon James in Chelmsford is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and public sector work, with direct access to clients and significant responsibility from day one.

You will manage the commercial delivery from feasibility to completion, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, valuations, and final accounts, while guiding clients and contractors with clear commercial direction.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Strong experience within a UK consultancy or client-side environment
• Proven ability to manage projects through pre- and post-contract stages
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts and common procurement routes
• Strong client-facing, communication, and commercial skills
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership would be advantageous
• Able to manage multiple commissions with a high level of autonomy

In Return:
