Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Peterborough (Office based - 2-3 days per week)

Salary: Up to £60,000

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (rising to 28 with service)

Hours: 45 hours per week

Working Pattern: Depot-based initially, with hybrid flexibility thereafter

The Opportunity

We are working in partnership with a leading, specialist contractor operating nationally within highways and infrastructure support services. Due to sustained growth and increased workload across key frameworks, they are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a high-performing depot in Peterborough.

The Role

• Take full commercial responsibility for a depot
• Produce and manage monthly CVRs
• Provide commercial support across multiple civils and highways contracts
• Manage and mentor a Commercial Assistant
• Support depot growth and strengthen relationships with key clients and frameworks
• Operate CEMAR (training available if required)
• Work closely with senior commercial leadership at regional and national level

• Strong understanding of project-based cost control and reporting
