The Opportunity

We're recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's fastest growing main contractors, who have already secured over £500m worth of work for 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to take commercial lead on a £25m new build industrial warehouse scheme in Bristol, reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

You will take the project from pre-construction all the way through to handover, working closely alongside a Project Manager and playing a key part in ensuring the project is delivered successfully.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take full commercial responsibility for a £25m new build industrial warehouse project
• Manage costs, procurement, and subcontractor packages throughout the lifecycle
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, valuations, and variations
• Lead monthly CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure robust contract and cost control at every stage
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, and delivery teams
• Report directly to the Commercial Director

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on new build projects
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Experience with industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial schemes
• Excellent cost management, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative project team
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
