Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Southampton for a Major Highways project. The ideal candidate will manage Groundworks packages, support junior staff, and build relationships with clients. Required qualifications include extensive experience in quantity surveying and familiarity with NEC contracts. This role offers competitive pay on a contract basis.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or higher.
• Previously worked for Tier 1/2 Contractors.
• Experience with NEC3/4 contracts.
• Experience managing Groundworks packages.
• Experience within the Civils/Highways sectors.

450 - 500 Per Day Outside

We are seeking an Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team working on Major Highways project in the South of England on a Contract basis.

Our client is an industry leader within the Civil Engineering space and have worked on a large scale projects across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the delivery of Groundworks packages across the framework at varying stages.
• Supporting junior staff with identifying and managing risks within the contract.
• Produce client and internal forecasts.
• Build strong relationships with internal suppliers and clients.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working as an Quantity Surveyor or higher.
• Previously worked for Tier 1/2 Contractors.
• Experience with NEC3/4 contracts.
• Experience managing Groundworks packages.
• Experience within the Civils/ Highways sectors is adventurous.
