Job summary

Ipsos is seeking a Senior Research Executive to design and deliver high-quality research for diverse clients. You will manage medium-sized projects end-to-end, translate business challenges into strategic research solutions, and deliver compelling insights that drive client action.

You will work with clients, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to growth across a wide range of sectors.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quantitative market research in agency, consultancy or client-facing environment.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Experience designing and reviewing research materials, including questionnaires.
  • Proven ability to analyse findings and produce insightful reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in AI use and adoption to enhance research, analysis and day-to-day business activities.

About The Role

The Ipsos Observer team specialises in bespoke research solutions, helping organisations understand customer behaviour, public opinion, and market trends. Working across sectors including government, academia, charities and commercial organisations, the team delivers a diverse range of research projects, from local studies to complex international programmes.

As a Senior Research Executive, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality research that helps clients make informed decisions. You'll manage medium-sized projects from inception through to delivery, while also contributing to larger, more complex studies as part of wider project teams. Working closely with clients, you'll help translate business challenges into effective research solutions and develop compelling insights that drive action.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious researcher who enjoys combining project management, research expertise, client engagement and storytelling with data. You'll have the chance to work across a wide variety of sectors and methodologies, develop broad research skills, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to business growth within a supportive and collaborative team.

About You
Essential Skills
  • Experience in quantitative market research, ideally within an agency, consultancy or client-facing environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience designing and reviewing research materials, including questionnaires.
  • Proven ability to analyse findings and produce insightful reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
