X4 Alpha, a premier hedge fund, is building a high-frequency futures business with a live platform and an established trading infrastructure. The team combines senior researchers and engineers in a small, collaborative setup, led by experts from top-tier systematic trading firms.

You will co-lead HFT research on futures, owning alpha from idea through live trading, researching and deploying short-horizon signals, and working with tick-level market data.

We’ve partnered exclusively with a multi-billion-dollar global macro hedge fund that is building a proprietary high-frequency futures business. This is a start-up-style team with the backing, data and infrastructure of an established institution.

The platform is live and trading. The execution stack is mature and low-latency, with co-located access to the major US and European futures exchanges. The team is moving out of its build-out phase and into a second phase focused on deepening research and scaling alpha. They are hiring senior researchers to lead that work.
