Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Quality Control Engineer to support a major engineering project within a highly regulated environment. This role emphasizes supplier quality management, welding inspection and QA across complex projects.

The successful candidate will ensure QC activities meet customer, project, regulatory and company requirements, maintaining ISO 9001 and QMS compliance with SC clearance eligibility and potential immediate availability.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2, or PCL Level 2 (Weld Inspection).
• Engineering apprenticeship supported by EITB NVQs or equivalent.
• Eligibility to obtain UK SC Security Clearance.
• Experience in Nuclear or highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to understand QA, QC, and inspection requirements.
• Review and approve supplier quality arrangements per project specs.
• Assess and approve manufacturing documentation (QCPs, ITPs, Weld Schedules, NDT).
• Attend supplier/subcontractor kick-off meetings to align quality requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and assign inspection activities.
• Ensure timely completion and reporting of inspection activities.
• Manage final release and acceptance of procured items.
