Senior Quality Engineer – Clevedon, North Somerset

Salary: £37,000 – £43,000

Working fortnight: 9 day working fortnight, 37 hrs a week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking.

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close knit team.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standard ISO9001, ISO14001 in line with product and service standards
  • Root cause analysis, creating non‑conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
  • Use of process improvement tools – 5S, 5Y, 8D
  • Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitoring agreed corrective actions
  • Maintaining quality documentation, utilisation of QMS systems
  • Internal and external audit management
  • Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
  • Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
  • Working knowledge to ISO9001, ISO4001 standards
  • Knowledge of CMM’s, GD&T
  • Reading engineering drawings
