Job summary

Accenture in Manchester is seeking a Quality Engineer to advance QA capabilities across client projects and internal initiatives. You will apply automated testing, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven, low-complexity solutions.

The role offers exposure to modern QA concepts, GenAI-enabled testing, and opportunities to contribute to regional QA communities while growing your technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering and automated testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.
• Experience mentoring QA teams.
• Proficiency in at least one OO language.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement modern Quality Engineering strategies.
• Hands-on QA work to deliver quality outcomes.
• Lead and mentor team members to execute QA activities.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
• Propose efficient, low-complexity solutions that add value.
• Contribute to internal and regional Quality Engineering communities.
• Passion for improving quality, productivity and software delivery.
• Experience defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering concepts including automated testing.
• Proficiency in at least one OO programming language (Java, C#, TS, Python).
• Hands-on or demonstrable GenAI experience or projects.
• Familiarity with testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Collaborative mindset with egoless approach and willingness to learn.
